Diamond Jubilee FAQ

General Event Information —

  1. All Land Rovers attending the Diamond Jubilee and on Greek Peak Resort property must be roadworthy, titled, insured and registered.

  2. All Land Rover models are welcome – Series, Range Rover, Discovery/LR3/4, FC-101, Freelander and Defender, both old and new.

  3. The Diamond Jubilee will take place rain or shine. We’re Land Rover owners after all.

  4. Greek Peak Mountain Resort prohibits the operation or use on or above resort property of unmanned aerial systems, or drones, by the general public—including model aircraft by recreational users and hobbyists. This prohibition includes drones used for filming or videotaping, as well as any drone use by media or journalists operating above or within the area boundaries. ANARC staff will be flying drones during the event.

  5. The Greek Peak Mountain Resort allows individuals with mobility disabilities to use wheelchairs and manually powered mobility aids.

  6. Dogs are permitted in camp. Dogs must be on a leash at all times.

  7. No open campfires. Propane fire pits are permitted. No wood burning of any type. The bonfire ring is a community fire and is the only permitted fire.

Base (formerly Primitive) Camping —

  1. Check in at Camp Control Post prior to camp set up. They will escort you to a campsite. Arriving after

  2. Each gravel site is approximately 30’ wide x 20’ deep. We strongly encourage you to use a ground cover.

  3. RV’s with a total length less than 20’ are permitted in the Base Camp. Campers over 20’ can be parked in the designed area (see Base Camp host).

  5. Base Camp Hosts will be posted in the Base Camp area.

  6. No open campfires. Propane fire pits are permitted. No wood burning of any type. The bonfire ring is a community fire and is the only permitted fire.)

  7. Generators may only be operated during daylight hours. Please be respectful of your neighbors.

  8. Quiet Hours are between 10 PM – 7 AM.

  9. There will be a designated family camp which is intended to be a “quiet” camp. If you would like a spot in this camp area, please see a Camp Host.

  10. Dogs are permitted in camp. Dogs must be on a leash at all times.

  11. Portable toilets and wash stations are provided throughout camp. There is a shower facility in the water park adjacent to Hope Lake Lodge, in addition to shower trailer will be available onsite.

  12. Overhead parking lights in the camp area will be utilize for safety. They will be turned off at 10:00 PM.

  13. Vehicular traffic and parking are very limited. There will be a shuttle bus at the camp area that will be used for the Friday Diamond Jubilee dinner. Please keep your Land Rover parked in your camp spot when possible. Foot traffic is encouraged.

  14. Vendor Village and TRAX are only accessible by foot; they are a short distance away from Base Camp. No vehicle traffic is allowed.

  15. Base camping opens at Wednesday, June 14 at 12 noon. Please checkin with registration desk prior. Only vendors & volunteers are allowed to arrive earlier.

  16. Base camping checkout is 12 noon on Sunday, June 18, 2023.

  17. Trash dumpsters will be available in base camp. Please keep your camp area clean and leave it how you found it.

Communications —

  1. ANARC will be using cell phone texting to all participants during the event to disseminate information on activities, including announcements and any urgent notifications.  

  2. All trail leaders and event staff will be monitoring FRS radio channels. GMRS where applicable may also be used by trail leaders for specific communication among event staff while on the trails.

  3. Participants are encouraged to bring FRS devices (GMRS units can be used as well) for event and trail ride communications.  Midland has offered our event a 10% discount code.

  1. [NEW] Only Land Rover vehicles may be in the event spaces including Base Camp.  

  2. [NEW] We will have a designated parking lot for all non-Land Rover vehicles.

Registration —

  1. Registration is through Eventbrite.

  2. ANARC member clubs and groups will select their club affiliation at registration check out. If you are not affiliated with an ANARC member club, please visit the membership page prior to registration.

  3. Roadworthy (titled & insured) Series 1 and Freelanders receive free admission as an Additional Land Rover. Email info@anarc.club for registration details prior to registration.

  4. Anyone attending the event of driving age needs to be registered. Under 16 years old receive free entry.  Anyone attending the Friday Jubilee Dinner must register, no matter their age, as there is a capacity limit for the venue.

  5. Already registered? Want to add an additional truck or attendee or purchase a Jubilee (Friday) Dinner ticket?

    1. Option 1: To edit order information or add an item, go to “Tickets” in your Eventbrite account. Choose the order you want to update and click “Edit”. Instructions link.

    2. Option 2: Visit the Eventbrite registration page, select the quantity of additional items and use the same billing information (name, email address) used on the original registration.

    3. If arriving after registration closed (8PM), follow the posted instructions and seek out the Base Camp host.

Trailers, Haulers & Tow Vehicles —

  1. Only Land Rover vehicles may be in the event spaces including Base Camp.

  2. Trailers, tow vehicles and RVs are not permitted under the Hope Lake Lodge portico for registration. Traffic pattern instructions will be posted.

  3. We will have a designated parking lot for all non-Land Rover vehicles.

  4. Trailers, haulers and tow vehicles will be parked in a designated lot.
