The ANARC Cup

The ANARC Cup is a team competition consisting of three skill components. Register your team in advance.

  1. RTV — multiple courses, the lower the score the better

  2. Vehicle Recovery — the proper use, understanding and safety of vehicle recovery.

  3. Scavenger Hunt — test your knowledge of orienteering (topo maps, compass and GPS coordinates in your vehicle), vehicle knowledge (hint: think geocaching but the cache is LR based and has to be recorded accurately) and the ability to tackle the hunt over a few days to find all items on the mountain.

The ANARC Cup will be a cumulation of scoring from all these events, tallied and announced upon completion of all challenge days during the Jubilee Dinner.

Team Spirit Award — themed, uniforms and decorated vehicles in the competition and/or club support earn points. The more outlandish, the more points you can earn.  Team Spirit is award separately from the ANARC Cup.

Team Registration

Register your club teams in advance to compete (no additional cost). Each member club can send up to two (2) teams. A team consists of a Land Rover, a driver and navigator. Clubs are responsible for deciding on the teams. The list of ANARC member clubs can be found here. Please coordinate with your club before registering for the ANARC Cup. Entries beyond the two per club may be disqualified. Registration deadline is June 15 at 8:30 AM.

Are you the only one from your club attending the Diamond Jubilee? ANARC will team you up with other singles and compete under the “Federation of Rover Clubs” flag. Only ANARC Member Clubs may compete in the ANARC Cup.
